How AAS works

Phase One - Learning

The first part of the Accessibility Accreditation Scheme is an educational component that allows firms to analyse completed projects online, with a self-declaration basis.

  • First you register your company.
  • Fees are modest and you can pay online.
  • Then declare the key performance indicators achieved for that site.
  • Then study the results to see where you need to improve.
  • Use online references and tutorials to learn about areas of weakness.
  • With your next project, you will be able to see a comparison to highlight the improvements.
  • You will also be able to compare your achievement with the industry benchmark.
  • Study and the processes that you will need to gain accreditation. To deploy these processes will require training, skills development and perhaps new human resources.
  • Continue to evaluate projects by self declaration.

Phase Two - Accreditation

Phase Two is in development and will be posted in due course.
